Welcome to Jasper’s Multimodal Knowledge feature, a powerful way to enhance your workflows by leveraging audio, video, and image inputs within Jasper. Modern workflows often involve multiple media types, such as webinars, podcasts, and images. With Multimodal Knowledge, you can now upload, analyze, and repurpose these assets directly within Jasper, streamlining your processes and saving time.
How to Upload and Use Multimodal Knowledge
- Navigate to the Knowledge Base .
- Click “Add Knowledge” --> "Upload File".
- Select Your File. You’ll see new icon options for audio, video, and image files. Hover over each icon to view supported file types and size limits. Formats like .mp4, .mov, and .jpg are supported.
-
Once uploaded, the file will automatically begin processing. A status indicator will show upload progress.
- You will receive an in-app notification when the file is successfully processed.
- If there is an error during processing, the knowledge item will be marked as "Failed" with a failure reason upon hover. You can delete the item, address the error and re-upload.
- Uploaded media assets can be used like any other Knowledge item. Attach them in Chat, the Create Flow, and anywhere in Jasper that you can leverage Knowledge items to power generations.
Tip: For video files, processing might take longer (up to 10 minutes, depending on the file size). Plan accordingly for optimal workflow integration.
