Overview: Track Workspace Adoption
The Usage page gives workspace admins a complete view of how your team is adopting Jasper — from generation volume and Jasper IQ usage to per-user activity breakdowns — with charts, tables, and export options for deeper analysis.
How to Navigate to the Usage Page
- Click your workspace name in the top left.
- Click Workspace Settings.
- Click Usage.
Filtering the Report
Two controls at the top of the page shape every metric, chart, and table.
- Date range (up to 12 months) — Sets the reporting window. Data is available through yesterday. The date range changes charts and tables, but export logs still contain the full 12-month dataset.
- User tag — Narrows the report to users in a selected tag. Choose a tag from the searchable dropdown and click Apply changes. Cards, charts, and tables reflect the selected tag. The default is All users. Click Reset to return to All users.
Top Metrics
These summary cards give you a high-level view of workspace health and adoption:
- Total generations — All text and image outputs created in the selected date range
- Jasper IQ adoption — The share of generations where any IQ layer was applied (Brand Voice, Audience, Knowledge Base, Product, Style Guide, or Visual Guideline)
- Hours saved — A directional estimate of time saved, based on productivity research and Jasper platform data
- Active licenses — Users who currently have access to the workspace
- Active users — Unique users who generated at least once in the last 30 days
- Active user rate — Active users ÷ Active licenses
Note: Active users and Active user rate always reflect the last 30 days, regardless of your selected date range.
Charts and Reports
The Usage page includes the following charts and tables, grouped as they appear on the page:
- Weekly generations and Jasper IQ adoption — Track generation volume and IQ enablement side by side over time
- Generations by surface — Generation volume by surface (Canvas, API, Grid, Extension, MCP, Agent Hub, Chat), broken out by feature
- Generations by feature — Generation volume by feature (Chat, Agent, Command, Ask Jasper, API, Extension, Toolbar, Keep Writing, Role Based Agents, Other), broken out by surface
- Top agents used — Highest-usage agents split by public (Jasper-provided) vs. custom (workspace-created)
Credit consumption
Visible only for workspaces on credit-based billing.
- Total credits consumed and Total credits consumed per user — Headline credit totals for the selected date range
- API / GEO / Agent / Grid credits consumed — Credits broken out by category
- Credit consumption by category — Daily credit usage by category (last 6 months; blank if no credits were used)
- Credit consumption by user — Credit usage by user (last 6 months; excludes API generations, which have no associated user)
User insights
- Top users by feature — Most active users and how their usage is distributed across features
- Weekly user logins — Unique user logins to the Jasper web app each week
- Monthly generations by user — Month-by-month heatmap to identify power users, champions, and engagement gaps
- Top users by agent type — Who is using agents, broken down by the type of agent
- User log — A live table of currently licensed users and their login activity (name, email, role, and created/first-login/last-login/first-content/last-content dates). For the full roster — including revoked users, department, tags, and invite history — use the User log export below.
- Group membership — Group sizes and whether Jasper IQ (Knowledge and/or Brand Voice) is applied to each group
Exporting Your Data
Choose a log from the dropdown next to Export, then click Export to download a CSV of the raw records behind the charts:
- Generation log — Row-level generation records (text/image, feature, surface, agent, IQ usage) for the 12-month window
- User activity log — Daily login records per user for the past 12 months
- User log — Workspace user roster with role, department, tags, invite/join/revoke details, and first/last activity timestamps
- Agents log — Inventory of all custom agents, including visibility and creator details, even if unused
- IQ log — Catalog of your Jasper IQ assets (Brand Voice, Audience, Knowledge Base, Product, Style Guide, Visual Guideline), including each asset’s type, creator, visibility, and status
- Group members log — Group membership and associated IQ resources; includes only active groups and active members

Data Freshness and Important Notes
- Data is available through yesterday — reporting is not real-time within the current day
- The reporting window covers rolling 12 months
- Most export timestamps are in UTC. Dates in the Generation log and User activity log — and the date buckets used by the charts on this page — are in Central Time (America/Chicago).
- Generations that cannot be attributed to a specific feature are classified as Other
- Hours saved is a directional estimate of time saved, based on productivity research and Jasper platform data — useful for trend analysis
