Jasper’s API helps you integrate Jasper capabilities into your own applications and workflows.
For current developer documentation, request and response details, and authentication requirements, visit the Jasper Public API reference.
Get started with the Postman collection
The Jasper API Postman collection provides a way to explore and test API requests before adding them to your application.
- Import the collection into Postman.
- Configure authentication once at the collection level using either a workspace API key or OAuth.
- Send requests in Postman to test your integration.
- Use your working requests as a reference when you add the calls to your application.
Choose an authentication method
Use OAuth when your integration acts on behalf of a Jasper user. For unattended server-to-server work, you can use a workspace API key.
For guidance on OAuth client setup, scopes, PKCE, token refresh, and using OAuth in Postman, see the authentication guide.
Find API details
The Public API reference includes endpoint request and response details, including the authentication requirements for each endpoint.
Find asset and agent IDs for API calls
Every Brand Voice, Knowledge Base item, Style Guide, Audience, and Agent in Jasper has an external ID that you can use in API calls. You can find the ID on the asset or Agent page, or in the URL of its Jasper IQ details page. Copy the ID and use it in your API request.
