Overview: Track Workspace Adoption
The Usage page gives workspace admins a complete view of how your team is adopting Jasper — from generation volume and Jasper IQ usage to per-user activity breakdowns — with export options for deeper analysis.
How to Navigate to the Usage Page
- Click your workspace name in the top left.
- Click Workspace Settings.
- Click Usage.
Top Metrics
These summary cards give you a high-level view of workspace health and adoption:
- Total generations — All text and image outputs created in the selected date range
- Jasper IQ adoption — The share of generations where any IQ layer was applied (Brand Voice, Knowledge, Audience, Style Guide, or Visual Guidelines)
- Hours saved — A directional estimate of time saved, based on productivity research and Jasper platform data
- Active licenses — Users who currently have access to the workspace
- Active users — Unique users who generated at least once in the last 30 days
- Active user rate — Active users ÷ Active licenses
Note: Active users and Active user rate always reflect the last 30 days, regardless of your selected date range.
Charts and Reports
The Usage page includes the following charts:
- Weekly generations and Jasper IQ adoption — Track generation volume and IQ enablement side by side over time
- Weekly user logins — Unique user logins to the Jasper web app each week
- Credit consumption — Visible only for workspaces on credit-based billing; shows credits broken out by Grid, API, and Agents
- Generations by feature — Breakdown by surface: Chat, Agent, Ask Jasper, Command, Extension, API, Toolbar, and Other
- Top agents used — Highest-usage agents split by public (Jasper-provided) vs. custom (workspace-created)
- Monthly generations by user — Month-by-month heatmap to identify power users, champions, and engagement gaps
- Top users by feature — Most active users and how their usage is distributed across features
- Top users by agent type — Who is using agents, broken down by the type of agent
- Group membership — Group sizes and whether Jasper IQ (Knowledge and/or Brand Voice) is applied to each group
Exporting Your Data
Every export downloads a CSV of the raw records behind the charts:
- Generation log — Row-level generation records (text/image, feature, agent, IQ usage) for the 12-month window
- User activity log — Daily login records per user for the past 12 months
- User log — Workspace user roster with role, department, invite/join/revoke details, and first/last activity timestamps
- Agents log — Inventory of all custom agents, including visibility and creator details, even if unused
- Group members log — Group membership and associated IQ resources; includes only active groups and active members
📄 Download the Usage Report Data Dictionary (PDF) — A complete field-by-field reference for every export log.
