Notice a failed charge on your account? We are sorry about this and want to help out!
There are a few reasons why your payment might be failing.
3D Secure Failed
Do you know if your bank is compatible with 3D secure?
A couple of things could be happening with 3D secure if your bank does offer it:
- Are you using a pop-up blocker? If so, disable it!
- Is your phone number up to date with your bank? I would recommend contacting them if 3D secure is popping up, but you never receive a code.
- Are you using a VPN? I recommend temporarily disabling it.
If your bank doesn't offer 3D secure, you'll want to use a new card. We know it's frustrating, but due to fraud right now, we have to verify cards with 3D secure.
Bank Declines
Your bank may be declining the charge without giving us a reason. In this case, we recommend reaching out to your bank to check in on why this is happening.
Insufficient Funds
Your card may be declining for insufficient funds. If this is happening, check with your bank to ensure that your card has enough funds for the plan you are on or try a different card.
Please note that for our Free Trial, we run a $1 pre-authorization fee- this is not an actual charge and will be reversed. You must have $1 of funds on your card to trial Jasper.
Prepaid or Virtual Cards
Is our system not allowing you to enter your card details at all? Check to make sure the card you are using is not a prepaid or virtual card. Due to fraud, we are no longer accepting these types of cards. Please enter a valid credit or debit card instead!
Incorrect Card Number, Zip Code, or CVC
If you accidentally input an incorrect card number, zip code, or CVC, your card will be declined. Double-check that all of your card information is correct and try re-entering that information.
Other Declines
If your card is declining for a reason that is not mentioned above, you will need to enter a new card.
