Core Features

Input Field Options

  • Short Answer: For quick text input.
  • Paragraph: For longer, detailed responses.
  • Dropdown: Single-selection options.
  • Checkboxes: Multiple-selection fields.
  • Tags: Input keywords, phrases, or hashtags.
  • File Upload: Attach files from the Knowledge Base.

Best Practices for Input Fields

    • TIP #1: You can mark any input field as required. For Short Answer and Paragraph fields, you also have the option to allow LLM suggestions, where Jasper can generate response recommendations for users to select.
    • TIP #2: Reorder the input fields by clicking the three-dot menu (on the right-hand side of the field) to move them up or down.
    • TIP #3: Used the Saved Input section of an input field to set the default text. This input will automatically be applied to the input field when the App is used.

Context Attachment

  • You can add up to five Knowledge Base items to provide helpful reference materials for your team. These items offer permanent background information or guidelines that users can view but not edit or remove, ensuring everyone stays aligned.

Dynamic Instructions

  • Instructions are clear directives given to Jasper to define the desired output. They ensure the LLM generates responses that match the intended format, style, tone, or subject. Jasper Studio automatically creates instructions based on your app’s description, but you can edit them anytime.
    • Utilize the Enhance button to generate an improved suggestion. From here, you can either replace your original prompt with the new one (click the check mark), delete the suggestion (click the trashcan), or regenerate a new response (click the Enhance button again).
    • Use the Regenerate Prompt option after making changes to input fields or Context to ensure the Instructions are updated.
    • Leverage tagging by typing @ or selecting the “@” button to reference input fields or Context you’ve included in your app. This makes the instructions more dynamic and precise.

Example Output

  • Specify formatting, structure, tone, and constraints like word count to align AI outputs with your vision.
    • Tip: Use clear examples to help Jasper understand your intended style and structure.

Testing

  • Start by clicking "Test your App."
  • Enter information into the input fields just as your users would. Choose a Brand Voice and select your preferred language.
  • Generate the output to see if it meets your expectations. If needed, make adjustments to align it perfectly with your goals.

Publishing

  • Once you’re satisfied with the App, decide who can access it.
    • Private to me: If you select this option, your app will appear under My Apps. Only you can access and use the app.
    • Anyone in Your Workspace: If you choose to publish it, the app will be available under Workspace Apps for anyone in your Workspace to use.
