Jasper Brand Voice allows Jasper to create your brand voice based on the content you provide. Simply upload examples of your writing, and Jasper will analyze your tone, style, and key characteristics to develop a personalized brand voice.
How to Create or Edit a Brand Voice
- Navigate to Brand Voice in the Jasper IQ section on the left hand side of your home page.
- Click + Add Brand Voice to get started or click on an existing voice and select Edit.
- Choose if you would like the Brand Voice to be visible to the workspace or private to you.
- Upload up to 8 examples of text, files (.txt, .pdf, or .docx), and/or URLs.
- Once uploaded, you'll receive a description of your writing. At the bottom, you'll see several excerpts from your content. Enable excerpts to improve the accuracy of your voice.
- Click Preview Brand Voice at the top of the page.
- Choose how you'd like to test your brand voice – Blog Post, LinkedIn Post, or Product Description – and provide a topic for Jasper to write about.
- Click Generate.
- You'll see two versions of the content: one with your brand voice applied and one without. Use this to evaluate how well Jasper captured your voice.
- Click Save changes in the upper right-hand corner.
TIP: If you would like this voice to be the default for your entire workspace, see the Default Workspace Voice help doc. This means all new content created in your workspace will automatically use this voice.

You can apply Brand Voices directly within Agents to ensure all generated content maintains your brand consistency.
Doc editor
Apply your Brand Voice in the document editor to maintain consistent tone across all created content.
Chat
Use Brand Voices in Jasper Chat to ensure all AI-generated responses align with your brand's voice and personality.
Finding Your Brand Voice Quickly
All IQ dropdowns — including Brand Voice — now show a Recently used section at the top with your three most recently selected voices. This makes it easy to get back to the Brand Voices you use most, without scrolling through the full list.
All other Brand Voices appear in an All section below. This same experience is also available when selecting Audiences and Style Guides anywhere you use IQ.
How to set Default Workspace Brand Voice
Our Default Workspace Brand Voice feature allows you to set a default voice in your workspace's settings, ensuring that all AI-generated content consistently reflects your brand's tone and style.
Only Admins can set the Default Workspace Brand Voice.
Instructions: 1. Click on the workspace name in the top left corner. 2. Click on Workspace Settings. 3. Click Generation Defaults. 4. Select your voice from the drop-down menu under Default Workspace Brand Voice. 5. Click Save.
Your default Brand Voice will be automatically applied to all AI generations in the Workspace. Users are able to override the default by selecting a different Brand Voice when creating content.

Can I tell Jasper to apply style rules to my voice?
Only Business customers can currently apply a Style Guide (e.g. use oxford commas, replace the word "client" with "partner").
When I give a URL to Jasper to find my voice, is he crawling or scraping the URL?
Jasper crawls your website to find an adequate amount of text to determine your brand voice, as opposed to scraping it.
What should I do if Jasper can't crawl my URL to detect my voice?
Here are some things you could try: - Make sure the URL you are entering is a valid URL and begins with https:// - Select a different URL with a voice that matches your brand. - Enter an example text of your brand voice in the box below the URL input box.
Is everyone in my workspace able to see the voices I create?
All Members and Admins within a workspace are currently able to see and use Brand Voices unless you make them private. You can control visibility when creating or editing a voice by selecting "Make Brand Voice public to the Workspace".
If I have a limited number of voices, am I able to delete voices I've already created and make new ones?
Yes, you can delete a voice and recreate a new one in its place.
