Integrations: Adobe Workfront

The Jasper × Adobe Workfront integration lets you export finished content from Jasper's Canvas or Grid directly into your Workfront projects as .docx files — no manual downloading, uploading, or version tracking required.

Setup Overview

Setup has three parts, handled by different roles:

  1. A Workfront admin creates an OAuth2 application and generates credentials
  2. A Jasper admin or developer configures the integration at the workspace level
  3. Each individual user connects their own Workfront account

For Workfront Admins

Where to do this: Adobe Workfront — Main Menu > Setup > System > OAuth2 Applications

  1. Click the Main Menu icon and select Setup.
  2. In the left navigation, click System > OAuth2 Applications.
  3. Click Create app integration.
  4. Select Web Application, enter a name (e.g. "Workfront for Jasper"), and click Create.
  5. Add both of the following Redirect URIs:
    • https://passport.integrations.jasper.ai/oauth/workfront
  6. Click Save.
  7. Copy the generated Client ID and Client Secret — you'll need these for the Jasper setup.

For Jasper Admins and Developers

Where to find it: Workspace Settings > Team integrations

  1. Navigate to Workspace Settings > Team integrations.
  2. Find Adobe Workfront and toggle the integration on.
  3. Enter your:
    • Client ID — from your Workfront OAuth2 application
    • Client Secret — from the same application
    • Subdomain — your full Workfront instance URL (e.g. https://subdomain.my.workfront.com)
    • Version — your Workfront API version (e.g. 18.0)
  4. Click Save.

Once saved, Workfront is enabled for the entire workspace and users can connect their own accounts.

For All Users

Where to find it: Workspace Settings > Integrations

  1. Navigate to Workspace Settings > Integrations.
  2. Toggle on Adobe Workfront.
  3. A Workfront sign-in window will open — enter your credentials and click Allow access.
  4. Once authenticated, your account will show as connected.

Exporting Content from Jasper to Workfront

Once connected, you can export any document from Canvas or Grid directly into Workfront:

  1. In Canvas or Grid, open the document you want to export and select Export.
  2. In the Connect integrations panel, confirm Adobe Workfront is toggled on.
  3. Click Continue and select Adobe Workfront.
  4. Select how you want to export the content — details for the three options below.
  5. Select the Workfront project and/or task you want to export to.

Choose what to export:
When you export to Workfront, you decide how the content reaches the team. Three options:

  • Link to the Jasper doc.
    • A link to the document in Jasper is added to the project/task's updates, so reviewers or editors can easily access the file. Great for users who edit in Jasper.
  • Attached file.
    • Adds a file directly to the project or task's document folder. Good for teams that use Workfront's native proofing tools.
    • To export to the project's documents folder, leave the task field blank.
    • A link to the doc in Jasper is also added to the project/task's updates.
  • Save to cloud storage.
    • The content is saved to your connected cloud storage such as Google Drive, SharePoint, or Box, with a link added to the project/task as an update, plus a link to the Jasper doc for easy retrieval. Good for teams that keep final assets in a central library.
    • One reason this matters: teams often run reviews in scattered places, a doc over email here, a Workfront comment there. Routing every export to the same destination, like a SharePoint library, pulls reviews back into one place and keeps the link between the Workfront task and the source document intact.

Availability

The Adobe Workfront integration is available for eligible Jasper workspaces. A Jasper Admin or Developer role is required for workspace setup. All users can connect their individual accounts once the workspace is configured.
