Connect Jasper to Adobe Workfront

The Jasper × Adobe Workfront integration lets you export finished content from Jasper’s Canvas or Grid directly into your Workfront projects as .docx files — no manual downloading, uploading, or version tracking required.

How it works

Setup has three parts, each handled by a different role:

  1. A Workfront admin creates an OAuth2 application in Workfront and generates credentials
  2. A Jasper admin or developer configures the integration at the workspace level
  3. Each individual user connects their own Workfront account via OAuth

For Workfront Admins

Where to do this: Adobe Workfront — Main Menu > Setup > System > OAuth2 Applications

What you’ll do:

  1. Click the Main Menu icon (upper-right corner of Workfront) and select Setup
  2. In the left navigation, click System, then select OAuth2 Applications
  3. Click Create app integration
  4. In the New OAuth2 application dialog, select Web Application, enter a name (e.g. “Workfront for Jasper”), and click Create
  5. Add both of the following Redirect URIs:
  6. Click Save
  7. Copy and save the generated Client ID and Client Secret — you’ll need these when configuring Jasper

For Jasper Admins and Developers

Where to find it: Workspace Settings > Team integrations

Who can access it: Users with an Admin or Developer role in Jasper

What you’ll do:

  1. Navigate to Workspace Settings > Team integrations
  2. Find Adobe Workfront and toggle the integration on
  3. In the Manage access to Adobe Workfront dialog, enter:
    • Client ID — from your Workfront OAuth2 application
    • Client Secret — from the same OAuth2 application
    • Subdomain — the full URL of your Workfront instance (e.g. https://subdomain.my.workfront.com)
    • Version — your Workfront API version (e.g. 18.0)
  4. Click Save

Once saved, Workfront is enabled for the entire workspace and users can connect their own accounts.

For All Users

Where to find it: Workspace Settings > Integrations

Who can access it: All Jasper workspace users (once a Jasper admin has completed workspace-level setup)

What you’ll do:

  1. Navigate to Workspace Settings > Integrations
  2. Toggle on Adobe Workfront
  3. A Workfront sign-in window will open — enter your Workfront credentials
  4. Click Allow access to grant Jasper permission to your Workfront account
  5. Once authenticated, your account will show as connected

Export content from Jasper to Workfront

Once connected, you can export any document from Canvas or Grid directly into Workfront:

  1. In Canvas or Grid, open the document you want to export and select Export
  2. In the Connect integrations panel, confirm Adobe Workfront is toggled on
  3. Click Continue and select Adobe Workfront as your integration
  4. Choose Word Document (.docx) as the file format and click Continue
  5. Select the Workfront project you want to export to and click Save

Your file will be exported to the Documents folder of the selected Workfront project.

Availability

The Adobe Workfront integration is available for eligible Jasper workspaces. A Jasper Admin or Developer role is required for workspace setup. All users can connect their individual accounts once the workspace is configured.
