Overview: What Is the Jasper SharePoint Integration?
The Jasper SharePoint integration lets you connect your Microsoft SharePoint environment to Jasper so your team can access and work with your organization's content directly within Jasper. You can connect to any Document Library in your SharePoint environment — including custom and non-default libraries — and navigate nested folders when syncing content to the Knowledge Base. Jasper uses OAuth to securely connect your Microsoft account and is a publisher-verified integration.
What Does Publisher Verification Mean for You?
When you connect Jasper to SharePoint, Microsoft's OAuth consent screen will display a verified publisher badge next to Jasper's name. This means:
- Microsoft has confirmed that Jasper (Jasper AI, Inc.) is the verified publisher of this integration
- You can connect with confidence, knowing the integration has been reviewed and approved by Microsoft
- IT admins reviewing OAuth permissions will see Jasper listed as a trusted, verified application
Previously, the consent screen showed an "unverified publisher" warning. That warning is now gone.
IT Admin Considerations
If your organization requires IT admin approval for OAuth integrations, your admin will need to review and approve the OAuth scopes Jasper requests. These scopes define what Jasper can access in your SharePoint environment. Reach out to Jasper Support if you need help walking your IT team through the required permissions.
How to Get Started
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations in Jasper
- Find SharePoint in the integrations list and click Connect
- Sign in with your Microsoft account and review the requested permissions
- Click Accept to complete the connection — you'll see the verified publisher badge confirming Jasper's identity
Working with Document Libraries
SharePoint environments often include multiple Document Libraries beyond the default. Jasper now exposes all of your available Document Libraries so you can choose the right one for each workflow.
When exporting content:
- In Jasper, open the content you want to export
- Select Export to SharePoint
- Choose your Document Library from the dropdown
- Select your destination folder and confirm the export
When syncing to the Knowledge Base:
- Navigate to Settings > Knowledge Base
- Select SharePoint as your connector
- Choose the Document Library you want to sync
- Browse and select the folder — including nested subfolders — you want to include
- Click Sync to start pulling content into your Knowledge Base
Nested folder navigation is fully supported, so you can target specific subfolders within any Document Library when setting up your Knowledge Base sync.

The SharePoint integration — including Document Library selection and nested folder navigation — is available for Business accounts. If you have questions about setting up the integration or need help with IT admin approval, we're here to help — contact Jasper Support.
