Integrations: Google Search Console

Have more questions? Submit a request

The Google Search Console (GSC) integration connects your GSC data to the GEO Agent, enhancing your AI visibility insights with real search behavior context.

Setup Overview

Before you begin, ensure you have access to the GSC property you want to connect. Your Google account must have the necessary permissions in GSC.

  • Go to Settings > Integrations.
  • Find Google Search Console.
  • Connect a Google account via OAuth.
  • Choose a verified GSC property to authorize.

What the Integration Can Do

This integration pulls data from your GSC account and combines it with the GEO Hub’s AI visibility data. You can pinpoint queries and pages where strong Google traffic isn't translating into AI visibility, surfacing exactly which topic clusters and pages need attention.

Data Available

The integration can pull the following data from GSC:

  • Clicks
  • Impressions
  • Click-Through Rate
  • Average Position

Data can be broken down by:

  • Query
  • Page
  • Date
  • Country
  • Device
  • Search Type (web, image, video, news, Discover)

You can access up to 16 months of historical data. Data can be filtered by keyword, page URL, device, country, or search feature.

Example Prompts

Here are some example prompts you can use with the GEO Agent:

  • “What are the top non-branded 20 queries driving clicks to [website] this month?”
  • “Which pages should I prioritize fixing, based on Google Search Console performance and the Hub’s current recommendations?”
  • “Do any topic clusters have a high Brand Presence Rate but low Google Search Console impressions or clicks?”
  • “How has overall click volume trended week by week for [website] over the last three months?”
  • “Explain the difference between my Google Search performance and my AI visibility scores for this [page/topic cluster].”
  • “Fetch the five most critical recommendations from the GEO Hub, then pull GSC data for those specific pages. I want to prioritize fixes on pages that already have strong organic impressions, since those are most likely to convert into AI citations.”

Limitations

  • The GSC integration cannot manage properties, submit or check sitemaps, inspect URLs for indexing or crawl errors, or provide Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, or manual-action reports.
  • Google’s API currently does not expose the dedicated GSC Generative AI feature impressions report.
  • GSC covers Google Search, including organic results, AI Overviews, and AI Mode, but not the standalone Gemini web or mobile app.

Availability

The GSC integration is available for eligible Jasper workspaces. A Jasper Admin or Developer role is required for workspace setup. All users can connect their individual accounts once the workspace is configured.
